Chapter One

As she sat there, she could hear the train passing. As it always did when it passed by her apartment, it shook the entire building. Slowly standing up to get her balance, she watched as her coffee pot nearly shook off its counter. As it passed, she walked over to it and pushed it back into its place. It then all hit her what the man had said, and she still stood stunned at it.

"BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP" went her second alarm which alerted her that she had 15 mins to shower and get out the door.

As she walked to her bathroom, she could have sworn she saw a tall black-haired woman guarding her door. But as the thought entered, it faded just as quickly.

As she exited she was surprised to find a pale blue suit with loafers sitting on her bed. As well as it made. Which she never does. Then just as suddenly, she felt a rush of air and a tall blonde woman appeared from nowhere and just stared at her.

"Mistress! What are you doing! Your alarm said you have 5 mins left to go to your workplace! Lets get you dressed and on your way." she said clucking as she removed her towel and as Tatiana got herself dressed, began to plait her hair.

"WHAT IN GODS NAME IS GOING ON HERE!!" Tati screamed as she whipped around to find the black-haired woman that she thought she imagined before suddenly materialize in front of her.

"Tatiana, are you in danger?" she asked, hand on the most intricate sword she had ever seen

"No, not in the way you are thinking. What is going on here?! First Kyle shows up and gives me the kiss of my life, then you stand guard at my door, and this one is acting like a bloody maid!" Tatiana screamed as the blonde kept braiding her hair, even as she kept moving around.

"Tatiana, we are here to be with you. And we are for you. As is Kyle. Until you decide, we are here to aid you. Althea loves housekeeping, which is why she is doing what she is doing, and I am your bodyguard." the woman with the sword said

"So what is Kyle then?" Tatiana asked as she watched the smile appear on the lovely woman's face

"Whatever you want Kyle to be. When you decide, all will be revealed. However, there are forces that will not want you to make the choice, in fact, they may want to kill you, because you are a good choice for what is planned, and they may not want that." she said

"Now, I think you have run out of time to arrive to your workplace on time, so I will take you there myself." she said as she grabbed her and leapt to the ledge

"Callie, don't you dare! I just got her hair perfect!" Althea screamed as the woman with Tatiana in tow leapt out of the building and took off into the air.

"Wahhhh!!" Tatiana screamed as she held on for dear life to the neck of the woman called Callie. The woman brought them high up into the air, and with a grace that she didn't think was possible, she stopped. "Now what?" Tatiana said and then shrieked as the woman plunged back down into the city and stopped right on the roof of the fashion house.

"Tatiana, we are here. You can let go now." she said as Tati released her arms. She then began to waver a bit, so she grabbed the woman's arm to steady herself.

"Tatiana, I know you have had a nasty shock today, with all of us arriving. But I do hope you make the right decision. I know something of your life too, and you don't take chances. In my line of work, thats a good thing because it makes my life easier, but tonight, when you speak to our Mistress tonight, take a chance. It will be the best thing you could have ever done with your life." she said

With that the woman walked away and faded, leaving Tatiana standing on the roof of her building, wondering how she is going to get down.
